The arrival of spring in earnest draws the local monkeys out to load up on Vitamin D and fresh rock!
Greensprings is the best local crag for a leisurely afternoon of climbing, as the drive is under 30 minutes from Ashland, and the approach is steep and quick. The basalt columns provide a range of challenges, and routes cover difficulties from 5.8 to 5.12+, with a mix of face and crack climbs, as well as some mixed routes.
